Job description

As part of the ZENCHEF Group FP&A team, the Group FP&A Analyst will contribute to the monthly reporting and forecasting process.

Your primary missions will consist in:

  • Assisting in Monthly / Quarterly closings
  • Taking part in the annual Budget & forecasting process
  • Performing ad-hoc data collection and process improvement


Day-to-day

Reporting to the FP&A Director, you will assist him in his regular tasks:

  • Participate in the monthly and quarterly closing process, liaising both with accounting and budget owners to make sure we report business-relevant data
  • Consolidate and prepare the financial data pack for the FP&A director and the Executive committee
  • Make sure we report the appropriate KPIs to give an accurate vision of the business, in the context of a fast-growing company (organically and externally)
  • Review variances versus Budget/Forecast at the relevant level of granularity and suggest appropriate corrective actions if needed
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and make sure our forecasts are always updated with latest business developments
  • Work on ad-hoc requests as they emerge that enable better business decision at the executive level of the company
  • Work on continuous improvement of the process and process documentation

Job requirements

  • Business School or Engineering School degree
  • First experience in a FP&A role (ideal)
  • Good understanding of P&L and BS in an IFRS environment, having financial analysis either through internships or in courses
  • Critical thinking, curiosity, and a strong interest in analyzing figures
  • Problem solving skills, able to draw a hypothesis with limited information
  • Clear thinking, able to explain in simple words a complex issue
  • Professional use of English, which is the primary language of work in the company
  • Outstanding integrity and confidentiality (given the sensitive data we may use)
  • Very good command of Excel / Google Sheets, as well as Powerpoint / Google slides, and an interest in tools (EPM, ERP, Dataviz tools) in general


Nice to have

  • You already dealt within Food & Beverage industry
  • You have worked across a range of different geographies and have the cultural sensitivity to do so effectively
  • You have worked with Salesforce & SEPA payment platforms in the past
  • You have worked on recovery processes & tools implementation
