Technical SEO Specialist

We’d like to supercharge our growth in our international target markets with the help of a well-set SEO growth strategy. You will be part of the Marketing Team and help Formitable with data-driven decision-making. At Formitable we thrive on change, so be ready to challenge the status quo. 

• Set up a SEO strategy through analysis of (historical) marketing data

• Build both on-site and off-site SEO 

• Collaborate with content marketing to create high-quality content around important, relevant terms

• Manage organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on site impressions, clickthrough rates, traffic, and conversions

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes with SEO and major search engines

• Know how to draw up site structures, do keyword research and use link-building to get better results

• Report, monitor, and interpret the data that our platform is generating and make data-driven decisions on it

• Find new (international) keyword verticals to conquer in order to expand our visibility

• Manage SEO keywords and strong CTA's in multiple languages (English, Dutch, German, French, & Spanish)

• Coordinate and manage the translation of all relevant content pieces on our website with local translation agencies and freelancers. Implement translations of content in our CMS (Butter, Hubspot).

• You’ll be responsible for managing the SEO projects with local agencies abroad

• You must be analytical and able to extract meaning from data and use this to optimize Formitable’s SEO approach

• In-depth knowledge of the various organic and paid marketing channels and technologies

• You are a collaborative spirit as you will team up with strategic and creative colleagues, you’re flexible and excellent at communication

• Solid communication skills in both Dutch and English – written and spoken

• Other languages are a big plus

• Experienced in working with major SEO tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, MOZ, etc.

• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, HotJar or Amplitude is a plus.

• At least 2+ years of professional experience in SEO with a proven track record of developing and implementing SEO strategies

• You’re a self-starter with a positive can-do mentality
